The exhibition hall of the Galleria Estense was inaugurated in 2018 with the exhibition Meravigliose avventure (Marvelous Adventures), which displayed the precious library material of the Biblioteca Estense consisting of the travel diaries of illustrious people of the past.
This was followed by other exhibitions dedicated to important people and artists such as Angelo Fortunato Formiggini, Steve Mc Curry, Henry Fox Talbot, Rober Capa, Simon Starling and Henry Ter Brugghen.
